A Mechanical Engineer by education and a member of the US, Jordan and UAE society of engineers, Helmi has been instrumental in starting two contracting businesses & managing them to growth where both claim multi million dollars in projects annually to this day. Starting in the power generation and water desalination field in Kuwait and previously with Fawaz Refrigeration & Menasco Electro Mechanical contracting, Helmi's keen interest in global providers of Civil, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Firefighting suppliers, established relationships, cost modeling skills and experienced engineering designs provides organizations the knowhow needed to create differentiation and market penetration.

As the founder of H2 Capital Holdings, Helmi's vision to create and sustain businesses in various market sectors that strive to create a unique difference in our world have been reinforced via recruiting top talent and subject matter experts for the various market sectors, partially &/or wholly financing new and established companies globally. Basil is responsible for H2's Emerging Media market sector investments & advises video startups & established studio, CE & service providers globally.

Listed on several social television, advertising & UI patent applications, Basil have brought various multi screen consumer facing & B2B SW applications, broadcast, On Demand and advertising solutions to many tablets, Smartphone's, TV's & set top boxes globally.

A decorated speaker, effective communicator & award recipient, having been a part of two acquisitions and a merger, Basil's astute understanding of the technology, customer, competition & product cycle allows H2 & its partners to focus on not only technologically sound offerings but also profitable ones.

Previously, Basil have brought a strong mix of technology & business experience to companies such as MediaNavi, a Technicolor USA & DreamWorks Animations venture, and a leader in media production and digital content delivery. The ARRIS Group, a leader in high speed internet, Video On Demand and advertising solutions and to C-COR Global Strategies, an incumbent video & advertising technology provider for the global carrier community.

Basil has also contributed to the engineering initiatives in digital video transition for Adelphia Communications, a US cable carrier.

Voted the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers' Young Engineer of the Year USA in 2004, Basil holds a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo and executive certificate in Strategy & Innovation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

From an academic background in Mechanical Engineering, Amer's dedication to success have been proven early in his career via an award winning Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, UAV, project in Aerospace technology sponsored by Raytheon USA. While Amer has vast knowledge and experience in HVAC contracting & aerospace technologies, his dedication to the young sports movement in one of the fastest growing cities in the world "Dubai" has been commendable.

Based out of Southern California, Amer's focus on the critical details in a sports business including customer retention programs, venue and field designs coupled with his ability to translate such details into concrete business models, allows new businesses to construct clear estimations of the economic, market, and competitive landscape that will help create not only exceedingly fun businesses but also profitable ones.

While Amer brings an attractive international perspective to sports as he has been a competitor in international and domestic tournaments himself, his belief that any entrepreneur can succeed in creating a sports business with dedication and love for the sport sets him apart.
